The district has committed itself to the integration of computer technology into the learning environment. In the fall of 2007, both computer labs along with staff at the high school were completely upgraded with new equipment. Mrs Vocks along with student aides are in Lab 223 (adjacent to the library) which has 27 new computers, all equipped with re-writable CD and/or DVD drives. The lab is equipped with both color and black laser printers, digital cameras, scanner, LCD projectors. A wide array of software packages including Microsoft Office 2007 (PowerPoint, Word, Access, Excel, Word). Research is facilitated by access to RPLS- the card catalog, Many of the research databases are available as links at the Taylorville Schools website. This lab is available for student and staff use throughout the day. Science Wing Lab (SWL) Rm 135 is available for classes with supervision from 7-3.
